Can Mammoths Roast Marshmallows? (Sunset of the Sabertooth)
In this episode, mother and son Marisa & Tyler talk about life back in the ice age, and contrast it with life in the artic today. They also compare cave bears, woolly mammoths, and sabertooth tigers to today's grizzlies, elephants and tigers (hint: they were way scarier than today's animals!).
They learn about cro-magnons, the ancient people who lived during the ice age, and how they used tools such as animal bones to make flutes and sewing needles to help them survive the freezing conditions. If you could draw a picture on a cave wall to tell a story, what would it be?
Are you a snow-eater? Don't eat the yellow snow!
